Festival News…. from Ian Wilson

The 2017 Leek Arts Festival gets under way this Saturday 29th April at the Foxlowe Arts centre when singer comedian Richard Digance performs on his Golden Anniversary Tour celebrating 50 yrs in show business.

Special guests will be The Broadside Boys from Suffolk.

These lads perform on stage with passion and intellect, they entertain with songs of tragedy and heroism, of plane crashes and ship wrecks, sailors and steam trains, of merchant seaman on the Arctic convoys, of hedge preaching wheel wrights and of game keepers and one-armed headmasters!…..

In further news we are sold out for our headline performance of Ralph McTell and Wizz Jones on Sunday May 28th. However if I am notified of any ticket returns I will notify this on the Facebook page…..

And finally the festival committee wish to thank all our customers for their support for Leek Arts Festival and we look forward to welcoming everyone to our events.

And this year we are attracting festival attendees from Scotland, Wales, Belgium and London.
