Vox Americana. 
Fronted by American singer-songwriter Helen Walford, Vox Americana are an Alt Americana band based in Leek, Staffordshire. With musical influences that include Lucinda Williams, Tom Waits, and Gillian Welch, they perform locally and further afield in the Midlands with focus is on original material, as well as a few carefully chosen covers thrown in for good measure.
